“Because he beats me” said the little boy.
“Why don’t you want to live with your mum then?” asked the judge.
Because she beats me as well.
“Oh” said the judge “Well who would you like to live with then?”
The little boy replied” I would like to live with Plymouth Argyle FC, because they don’t beat anyone!!”(Plymouth Argyle currently sit at the bottom of the football league – to our US readers!)
Apparently, when Harry Redknapp was West ham manager he offered to send the squad on an all expenses paid holiday to Florida but they declined. They’d rather go to Blackpool so they could see what it’s like to ride on an open-top bus.

If you look at my bookings, they’ve gone down each season. That’s something I’m trying to keep improving. On the pitch you don’t want any silly bookings.
Yeah I think so. I saw the ball come in the box and I thought why not. I tried to get in a good position from when Nani crossed it. Nine times out of 10 they go over the crossbar or wide. I’m playing a lot better since I had my hair transplant – I feel like a new man. But I won’t be heading any goals until the transplant has taken properly.(Not a Wayne Rooney quote – I made this one up!)
